With 38 years experience as a principal in Architecture and the Construction industry, we enjoy being a productive asset to any project with the goal of facilitating a successful outcome. We truly love creating opportunities for development projects and coordinating the design-build process to completion.

Since 1980, we have managed property development, including design and construction, for residential and commercial projects. During that time, we have developed 60% of our projects, while the remaining 40% were completed through third-party contracts. The value of our projects have ranged from $50,000 to $10,000,000.

Northwest Architectural specializes in successfully coordinating all aspects of a project from conception through to completion with numerous professionals to meet the project needs through ongoing relationships.

Currently licensed in Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.

In addition to our architecture firm, we own and operate a boutique construction company, BCS Batiment LLC, which specializes in high-end residential and light commercial buildings. Our position as both a licensed Architect and General Contractor gives us a unique ability to see our projects from conception to completion, and we love the opportunity to walk with our clients through each step of the building process to ensure their needs are met from Day One to Day Done.

Although we believe there are many benefits to having the same team working through the entirety of the project, Northwest Architectural does provide architectural services independent of BCS Batiment, and we are happy to work with any other construction companies—whatever best suits the needs of the project and client.

Luxury Modern Home — **January 2020 — July 2021 Petes Mtn Modern:**

**A 6,430 sq ft design-build of high-end luxury home 5bed, 5 full bath/ 2 half bath with media room and office**
**Sold for $3.85 million**
**Builder:** **BCS BATIMENT**

**French Chateau Addition 2013-2016 :**

A 12,000 square foot Chateau. Traveled to France and Established relationship with Boutique Building Supplier in France and imported numerous historic materials and hand carved stone columns, fountains etc. This project was a design-build.

Carl's Jr — **2009-2016 Carl’s Jr Remodels & New Construction:**

**Architect & GC for a majority of the JCK Enterprises LLC (Carl’s Jr. Restaurants projects).**

**1991: Athletic Club of Bend, Bend Oregon:**

A 90,000 square foot developed and design-build project. The construction type consisted of light weight wood frame two story structure for the main club area with a pre-engineered steel building for the tennis. Exterior was EIFS on the wood structure with metal siding for the steel structure. The structure is a semi half circle continuous form.

Mt Bachelor Village — **1991: Mt. Bachelor Village, Condos, Bend, Or:**

**High end 6,000 square foot condominium quads Construction project. Consisting of four light weight wood condominiums.**

willamette Pass Ski Lodge — **1984: Willamette Pass Ski Lodge, HWY 58:**

This was a fast-track design-build project. The basement was poured in place concrete columns and beams, dry stack masonry infill with prestressed concrete core floor. The remaining three floors consisted of heavy re-sawn glue-lam timber columns and beams. The infill was of light weight wood.

Bruce Sinkey

Architect

Bruce has over 38 years of experience in the field. He is a licensed architect in Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. He has developed several large projects over the years. He is a wealth of knowledge and knows how to do it all from conception to completion.

Caitlin Sinkey-Kjemperud

Project Manager - designer

Caitlin has been working with Bruce since 2011 covering a range of design-build from high-end custom homes, such as French Chateaus, small commercial and to their own residential rehabs. Well versed in design, project management, project development, coordinating with local jurisdictions, budget development, accounting, financing, and contracts.

She is a licensed Principal broker with (w)here Real Estate.

Shannon Sinkey

Project Manager — designer

Shannon started working with Bruce part time while attending UofO in 2010 and joined the team full time 2014. She has also worked alongside the team on the design-build projects from high-end custom home, such as French Chateaus, small commercial and to our own residential rehabs. She is well versed in design, project management, project development, budget management, accounting, on site management, contracts.
